So I’m sitting here at 3 in the afternoon, it’s about 200˚ in my car and I’m done making sales calls for the day. DONE! I can’t take it anymore… I’ve gotta cool off… Meeting tonight at Josh’s, looking forward to Tacofest 2008… I dunno, I’m just in a totally random mood but I really wanted to post something for you guys to just let you know what’s up. We’re in the process of getting some interviews together for Incyte Resources so those should be up soon. Also, I’m getting ready to make some big changes in my own personal outlooks. Writing more? Plausibly… Hopefully…But anyway, hope to see you guys again VERY soon… I’m gunna see if I can get this other post done for you soon… Take Love!

So yeah I just want to take this chance to thank my pastor Josh at our downtown campus for getting me sick this weekend…thanks buddy! Anywho, at home sick, trying to get something useful done but doesn’t seem to be happening much… hope everyone else is doing alright.
Have you ever become complacent in life? Has life ever just seemed to slip by with no real passion, whether good or bad? What do we do when that happens? A lot of times we seem to just survive… That’s where I have recently found myself. I’m not saying I’m unhappy by any means. I love my job, my friends, my family, my church. But there seems to be something missing. I’m ready to find that passion, that drive that I feel like I’m missing. In college I found that passion by working with a bunch of close friends on Underline Ministries. It stretched me to bring things together that people weren’t expecting to be able to bring together, but with it I found a passion at doing the things that people said we might or might not be able to pull off. The one video we were able to produce was a result of that. Of us striving to do something to reach people. I’m ready for that again. At the moment I’m working with my close friend Tommy Parke bringing together Incyte Resources which will be an online resource of interviews with leaders in different areas of ministry, both personal and professional, as well as writings from people that are striving day-in and day-out to reach people who are far from Christ. The church I attend, Lifepoint Church, is also a passion for me. We pull off in a week what some churches couldn’t even dream of doing in a year. But aside from that where does God want me? I feel as though he’s getting ready to thrust me in a new direction, but where? I can honestly say I’m learning first hand what it means to wait on God…
So I’m currently sitting here at 9:20 at night in this Dodge Avenger going about 85 miles an hour trying to get to the other side of Toledo Ohio to Detroit to where we’re staying… Been on the road since 7a.m…. Starting to get a little tired, but it’s been a good trip so far. Looking forward to the wedding. Have a lot going on but it’s a lot of fun. Right now I’m sitting here talking to Dave (the groom), Sarah, and John (the sister and brother ‘n law) about world travels and foods in different parts of the world. (Sarah and John live in Egypt as missionaries) I got the chance on the way to Charlottesville to spend some time with one of my best friends growing up talking about his life after a year of marriage and now I’m with a friend that’s about to get married. For some reason I love hearing peoples experiences with life in different aspects. We’ve also been informing the “foreigners” about the news of the world… Heath Ledger’s death, what a Nintendo Wii is, the fact that there’s been flooding along the Mississippi, and all the other important stuff that’s happening on this end of the world… I can’t even tell you how funny it is to think back on what’s going on in this world… Anywho, off to talk some more. So a lot’s been going on. Been working with a new associate, Amy, who’s already getting in position to blow the gates off. Getting ready to roll to Detroit in a couple of days for my good friends Dave and Carissa’s wedding, and so much other stuff going on… It’s crazy. Anyway, if I can get through the next 24 hours I’ll be doing some writing on the way up the road and posting it once I get to Detroit. Peace out y’all!!!!
Ever had one of those nights that your mind is moving 10000000 miles an hour in 100 different directions? Yeah… that was my night…updates soon…hopefully…
Maybe that’s where the word comes from. Because with work, with business, I’m always busy… This has been yet another crazy week for me. But fear not. I’ve got a few interesting posts in the works. Some of them will take longer than others to complete but I’m going to devote some diligent time to trying to finish them up over the next week or so so check back regularly to see what’s going down…if nothing else I’ll post updates of what’s going down…
